All members must have a selfie of their own face as a profile photo. Nobody else should be in the picture.
All members must have their actual usual first name, what I would address you by if we were in an in-person educational setting/coven, in their profile name. If you don't want to use your last name, you can use the first letter of it. If you want to add another name after your usual first name and the first letter of your last name, go for it.
We are "Covina Casual," which means we discuss things in a conversational style that encourages closeness.
The "key" concept when it comes to sharing here in Covina is to keep it personal and focused on the curriculum.
Share pics of you doing the magic, from altars to more.
Share selfies, share things you've created (be it visual or written), post excerpts that amplify our current focus.
Above all, talk about the curriculum, from our playlists to the lessons.
Follow my lead and all will be well.
We practice the Covina Kindness 1:1 Rule for posting - make one thoughtful reply to one of your Covina Kindred before adding your own experience.
Don't talk at each other, talk to each other.
These policies apply to all spaces within Covina, including the all-member chat.
Dr. Brannen and the leadership will act to remedy any situation in which a member of The Covina Institute violates the Code of Conduct.
Conflict resolution best practices are used to resolve any violation of the Code of Conduct. All conflict resolution will include at least two members of leadership. The usual first step for minor violations is to clearly discuss with the member the alleged violation to reach a resolution. If a successful resolution cannot be reached, such as the member fails to apologize or acknowledge their violations, the member may be removed without further discussion. Serious violations will result in immediate removal. Members removed from the network for violating the code of conduct will be banned from returning to the network. The reasons for their removal will be reported to Mighty Networks.
Offensive content, including images or words depicting overt sexuality, violence or nudity, will be removed without discussion.
Reporting a Code of Conduct Violation
Report any possible violations by clicking on the three dots in the upper right corner of a post. For problems in the all-member chat, please report directly to Cyndi Brannen.
