Hekate's Keys is a program of four courses that lasts for about one calendar year. The months correspond to chapters in Entering Hekate's Cave. Each one lasts for three moon months.

Each course culminates in a High Ritual that is the pinnacle of all the work from the preceding months, including the sacred creativity project that is the offering for this ritual. 

Each moon month explores an aspect of Hekate using themes and correspondences. Additionally, the astrology of each month is woven into the lessons, including a detailed monograph on the sign of the Zodiac in the Sun for that month. There is also a deep dive into a notable astrological signature during the month.

Correspondences associated with the aspect of Hekate, as well as other faces of the Goddess are explored, and we do deep psychospiritual inquiry.

There are two moon salons (New and Full) every month, where we discuss the psychospiritual inquiries we are working on, do our sacred creativity, and have a ritual with meditation.

Students participate in the chats, comment on sharing circles, and more.

It is most helpful to have copies of these four of my books: Keeping Her Keys; Entering Hekate’s Garden; Entering Hekate’s Cave; True Magic.

Use the suggestions for the general apothecary in Entering Hekate’s Garden. Additionally, I recommend that you have a journal of your choice, a decent quality sketch book, with pencil crayons and/or markers. Having a printer is most helpful, since there are monthly compendia’s, art, exercises, and other printables.

Our year is divided into four gates based on the seasonal transitions, with a different ritual featured in each one. 

Key 1: Autumn - Gate of Release: The Torch - Animarum Emissio – The Ritual of Release.
Key 2: Winter - Gate of Retrieval: The Wheel – Animarum Recupero – Soul Retrieval Journey.
Key 3: Spring - Gate of Rebirth: The Cauldron – Animarum Renovamen – Ceremony of Rebirth.
Key 4: Summer - Gate of Renewal: The Crown – Animarum Reparatio – Sovereign Goddesses Ritual. 

The Keys of Hekate Annual Cycle is rooted in the Three Realms and follows the natural rhythm of the seasons and the lunar calendar.

Our High Rituals are distinguished from meditative journeys in that in-depth preparation is required. The High Rituals include The Three Gates of The Rituals of The Sacred Cave.

We engage in various preparations for the rituals, including sacred crafting. The ingredients are drawn from the correspondences for the lunar month.

Ritual prep lessons are released approximately 10 days - two weeks before the live gathering date. There is usually an audio version for those who cannot attend live since rituals are not recorded.

In autumn, we descend into Hekate's Cave. We remain in the Cave throughout the darker months, emerging through rebirth on the New Moon closest to the cross quarter of Spring and Summer. This covers about six months, starting about halfway through The Gate of Release until we exit The Gate of Rebirth.

The Rituals of The Sacred Cave include The Ritual of Release (Animarum Catharsis), The Soul Retrieval Journey (Animarum Recupero), and The Rebirth Ceremony (Animarum Renovamen).  In addition, we do a lovely meditative journey to meet The Cailleach near the Winter Solstice, as she symbolizes The Crone who meets us as we face our own mortality during the Cave Journey.

After The Rebirth Ceremony, we venture into Hekate's Garden for the spring and early summer as we enter The Gate of Renewal. We celebrate the initiations of Lampadia and The Mystai on the Full Moon following rebirth, along with crafting a Kore Talisman. On the Summer Solstice, we celebrate The Sovereign Goddesses Ritual (Animarum Reparatio). We journey to the Moon Altar for our meditative experiences during live gatherings in this period.

At the New Moon closest to the cross quarter of Summer and Fall, we climb into the heavens as we prepare to enter Hekate's Temple with The Animarum Nyssa, coming at the beginning of The Gate of Release. The cycle completes, and begins anew.
